What You’ll Build
In this learning path, you will explore the Vonage Verify API and learn about Verify Silent Authentication. You will also learn how to implement Verify Silent Authentication in a mobile application using the Vonage Verify API, with a backend developed in Node.js and a client built in Android (Kotlin).
This learning path is implementation-focused and guides you from start to finish in building a working solution. To help you fully understand Verify Silent Authentication:
- Courses 1–2 briefly explain the Vonage Verify API and Verify Silent Authentication, and provide additional resources you can explore in depth.
- Course 3 lets you apply what you’ve learned through coding exercises in GitHub Codespaces.
How You’ll Build
First, Meet the Vonage Verify API & Silent Authentication Foundations courses will explain what the Vonage Verify API and Verify Silent Authentication are. Then, in the End to End Implementation course, you will move to GitHub Codespaces, where you will complete coding exercises:
- Backend Coding Exercise - You will set up the environment and build a backend.
- Mobile App Coding Exercise - You will build a modern Android application and create a mobile UI, integrate the Vonage SDKs, and test the project.
By the end of this learning path, you will set up your first Verify Silent Authentication flow in an Android (Kotlin) app backed by a Node.js server.
