Fraud Defender allows you to set rules to detect fraudulent traffic from phone numbers, all from your Vonage Dashboard.
Fraud Defender enables you to do the following:
- Set notification and blocking preferences when receiving alerts.
- Enforce the blocking of traffic to specific countries.
- Ability to define rules for handling specific alerts.
Getting Started
Follow the steps below to get started with Fraud Defender:
You will need to provide and set up your fraud notification email address. This will be the email address through which you will receive all alerts. You can do this from the Notifications tab on the API Settings page.
From the Alert Actions page, you can modify the default settings for how Fraud Defender handles incoming alerts.
You will also need to configure your monitoring rules on the Traffic Rules page.
You can now access and drill into all flagged traffic on the Alerts page.
