Ruby on Rails provides several built-in methods and functionality for creating your own authentication workflows. In Rails 8, an authentication generator was added to leverage this built-in functionality and provide a basic authentication flow for your Ruby on Rails application. The generated code is a solid starting point for building out additional flows for things like user sign-up and two-factor authentication (2FA). In this session, we’ll explore the code created by the Rails authentication generator and walk through how to build a 2FA authentication flow on top of it using the Vonage Verify API and the Vonage Ruby SDK.

Laravel Livewire has become a bit of a revelation since its introduction in 2020. With the advent of simpler "front-end code in the back-end", what can we actually do with it?
