Max Chambers Joins the Developer Relations Team!
Hi everyone, I’m Max, and I’ve just joined the Developer Relations team!
Originally from London, UK, I’ve called the US home for over a decade. These days, I’m based in sunny Wilmington, North Carolina, where I live with my wife, our two young daughters, and our wildly enthusiastic golden retriever, Sadie (who takes her role as Chief Distraction Officer very seriously).
Over the past several years, I’ve worked at the intersection of community, technology, and storytelling, helping developer communities grow, thrive, and connect with the people building the tools they use every day. I’ve led programs that supported global networks of developers, launched dedicated platforms for sharing feedback and best practices, and organized everything from intimate roundtables to massive multi-day summits. I've been lucky enough to work alongside incredibly talented DevRel and product teams, translating community insights into roadmaps, campaigns, and content that actually matter to the people using the tech.
One of the things I love most about this space is that no two days, or two communities, are ever the same. Whether it's building a feature request pipeline, curating community-led events, or just making sure someone new to the platform feels like they belong, the magic really happens when people feel seen, heard, and empowered to contribute.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me at the beach, on a hiking trail, or trying to tire out a four-year-old retriever who apparently missed the memo about "slowing down with age."
I’m excited to be here, and even more excited to get to know this community. I’ll be listening, learning, and jumping in wherever I can to support your work and help make sure our developer community is a space where everyone feels welcome, supported, and empowered.
Come say hi, I’d love to connect!
