Jamil Gocan Joins the Vonage Developer Relations Team

I’m Jamil, the new Community Manager at Vonage. I’m passionate about creating spaces where developers connect, learn, and grow. I’ve worked with creative, tech, and entrepreneurial communities, and now I’m focused on supporting developers through events, collaborations, and shared learning.

My free time is often spent travelling and engaging in cultural experiences that broaden my perspective. I enjoy visiting museums, exhibitions, and local events to see how creativity shapes daily life. I have a strong interest in fashion, both as an art form and as a way of expressing identity. Staying active through regular exercise helps me maintain focus and balance. I also like exploring different cuisines and learning how food brings people together and connects cultures.

Community drives innovation, and when people exchange ideas, great things happen. I have hosted events in the UK and travelled internationally to take part in community gatherings. The most rewarding aspect for me is connecting with people and sharing knowledge. I aim to strengthen those connections while celebrating the developers who make the Vonage Developer community vibrant.
