Vonage Video Windows SDK
The Vonage Video Windows SDK lets you use Vonage Video API-powered video sessions in Windows apps.
Apps written with the Vonage Video Windows SDK 2.28.2 can interoperate with Vonage Video apps written with version 2.24+ of the Vonage Video client SDKs:
- OpenTok.js (Web)
- Android SDK
- iOS SDK
- Linux SDK
- React Native
Using the SDK
Important:
- Please note that your App ID is your API key.
- Windows SDK 2.26.0 was published as version `2.26.0-release``. We are looking into the issue.
- Windows SDK 2.24 and above no longer support 32-bit x86 architectures.
When creating an installer for your application, add Visual C++ Redistributable for VisualStudio 2019 as an installer package. Only x64 is currently supported.
The Windows SDK requires .NET version 4.6.2 or greater, but it also supports .NET Core 3.1 or greater, and .NET Standard 2.0. It provides support for Windows Presentation Framework and Windows Forms.
The Vonage Video Windows SDK supports applications written in C#.
System requirements
The Vonage Video Windows SDK is expected to work on desktops, laptops, and tablets from Lenovo, HP, Dell, and ASUS.
The Vonage Video Windows SDK is only supported on the x64 architecture. The supported operating system versions are:
- Windows 7
- Windows 8.x
