External Accounts

External Accounts are messaging accounts outside of Vonage, such as Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and Viber. You can link and unlink your Vonage Messages and Dispatch applications to and from these external accounts using two methods:

• The Developer Dashboard
• The External Accounts API

The API supports Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and Viber. Further channels may be supported in the future.
