QoD Logs

The QoD Logs page lets you search and monitor Quality on Demand (QoD) sessions created through the Vonage Network APIs. Use this page to track QoD session status, verify network performance requests, and analyze session duration and success rates.

Before You Begin

  • QoD logs are available for 30 days only
  • Logs appear within a few minutes after the session is created or completes
  • Each QoD session has a unique Session ID returned in the API response

Accessing QoD Logs

  1. Log in to the Vonage API Dashboard
  2. Navigate to Monitor → Logs → QoD Logs

Search Filters

The QoD Logs page provides a single search interface with the following filters:

Date Range

Select the time period for your search using date and time pickers.

To set a date range:

  1. Click the start date/time field (left field)
  2. Select a date from the calendar and enter a time (format: MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm AM/PM)
  3. Click the end date/time field (right field)
  4. Select a date from the calendar and enter a time
  5. Click Search

Note: Date ranges are limited to 30 days. For older logs, use the Reports API.

Working with Results

Viewing Log Details

The results table displays:

  • Network - The mobile network operator handling the QoD session
  • Session ID - Unique identifier for the QoD session
  • Timestamp - When the session was created
  • Profile - The QoD profile requested
  • Status - Session status (active, completed, failed, etc.)
  • Duration - How long the session lasted or has been active

Click on a log entry to view full details about the session, including:

  • Complete session parameters
  • Network performance data
  • Error codes (if applicable)
  • Detailed operator information

Configuring Columns

Customize which columns are displayed in the results table:

  1. Click Configure Columns
  2. Select or deselect columns to show or hide
  3. The table updates to display your selected columns

Sorting Results

Click any column header to sort the results by that column. Click again to reverse the sort order.

Exporting Data

Export search results to CSV for offline analysis:

  1. Perform a search using the date range filter
  2. Click Export CSV
  3. The CSV file includes all columns from the results table
